ProRep Leaf Litter Brick 500g

A 500g compressed block of dried leaf litter for building a natural forest-floor layer in suitable reptile, amphibian and invertebrate enclosures. Break it apart by hand and scatter over the substrate.

Why use leaf litter?

• Adds surface cover and small sheltered spaces.
• Provides material for decomposer organisms in a bioactive enclosure.
• Creates a more varied, natural-looking substrate surface.

How to use

Loosen the leaves and distribute them to suit the species and enclosure. Monitor moisture and ventilation, remove heavily soiled material and top up as the leaves break down. Leaf litter complements a suitable base substrate rather than replacing it.
