Westland Gro-Sure Smart Seed 25m2

A hard-wearing lawn seed with a moisture-retaining Aqua Gel coating, useful for worn areas, bare patches and overseeding. The coating absorbs water and releases it around the seed as conditions dry, reducing losses from uneven watering.

Rates and timing

• New lawn or bare patch: 40g per m.
• Thickening existing grass: 30g per m.
• Best sown in spring or early autumn, with soil temperatures around 1018C.

How to sow

Remove weeds, prepare a level seedbed and spread evenly. Lightly rake in and firm so seeds contact the soil. Keep watered during dry weather until established. Mow existing grass and remove clippings before overseeding. Aqua Gel helps retain moisture but does not remove the need to water.
