Tiger Grass (Thysanolaena maxima) – Large

Tiger Grass (Thysanolaena maxima / Thysanolaena latifolia) is a fast-growing, clumping grass with tall bamboo-like stems and lush green foliage. Unlike running bamboo, it stays in a dense clump, making it an excellent choice for screening, tropical gardens and privacy planting.

Growing around 23m tall and 11.5m wide, it performs best in full sun to part shade with moist, well-drained soil. Regular watering during hot or dry weather will help keep the foliage lush.

Supplied in a 180mm – 200mm pot.
