Enjoy sweet, golden harvests from even the smallest garden with the Super Dwarf Apple Golden Delicious. This compact variety is known for its crisp texture and mellow, honeyed flavour. Great for fresh eating, baking or stewing. Its naturally small size makes it ideal for pots, small gardens or balconies, typically reaching just 1.5 to 2 metres tall. It prefers full sun and well-drained soil, and its manageable height makes care and harvesting easy.
Pollination: While Golden Delicious can be self-fertile, fruit set is more reliable with a compatible pollinator nearby.
Most Compatible Cross-pollinators: Gala, Granny Smith, Red Fuji, Trixzie Gala
Chill Requirement: Approximately 400 to 600 chill hours over winter.
