Lilac Lights Azalea

Cold-Hardy Lavender Blooms

The cold-hardy Lilac Lights Azalea (Rhododendron ‘Lilac Lights’) will stop you in your tracks every spring with its breathtaking display of soft lavender blooms. One of the hardiest deciduous Azaleas around, this flowering shrub erupts in pastel purple-pink funnel-shaped blossoms that practically glow against its fresh green foliage!

Its sweet floral fragrance fills the air in mid to late spring, luring in butterflies and gardeners alike! Part of the Northern Lights series from Bailey Nurseries, this shrub thrives in colder regions where other Azaleas fear to tread!

Growing 3-4 feet tall and wide, Lilac Lights has a dense, mounded form with upright branches that carry elliptic, soft green leaves through the summer before turning glorious hues of yellow and orange in fall. The flower clusters form at the ends of the branches in trusses, blanketing the plant in blooms each year without fail. The bare winter branches highlight its compact, multi-stemmed shape, perfect for adding seasonal interest.
