Harvest Gold Linden

Overview & Description

Harvest Gold Linden (Tilia x mongolica Harvest Gold) is a smaller, more upright tree prized for its fragrant yellow blooms in early summer and glossy, heart-shaped foliage that turns a consistent golden-yellow in autumn. The exfoliating bark adds winter interest, revealing attractive textures beneath. This improved selection offers high resistance to sun scald and leaf spot, ensuring reliable, healthy performance in the landscape.

Growth & Size

This variety exhibits an upright, narrower, oval-pyramidal growth habit. It is a moderate-growing tree, typically reaching a mature size of about 26 33 feet in height with a spread of 16 23 feet.

Additional Notes

It blooms in early summer with fragrant yellow flowers. Hardy to Zone 2, it has high resistance to sun scald and leaf spot and prefers moist, well-drained soil. An outstanding choice for residential landscapes, smaller gardens, street plantings, and fragrance gardens where upright form, golden-yellow fall colour, fragrant summer blooms, exfoliating bark, and disease resistance are desired.
