HabiStat Coir Coarse Husk is a compressed coconut-husk substrate for suitable reptiles and invertebrates from humid environments. Its coarse texture creates a natural base for burrowing and exploration.

Preparation and maintenance

Place the block in a bucket or tray with 3 litres of warm water and leave for about one hour. Add more water if needed, break up the expanded husk and adjust moisture before use. Match the depth and humidity to the species, maintain ventilation and spot-clean daily. Replace soiled substrate regularly.
