Gro-Sure Perlite 10 Litre

A lightweight mineral compost additive for improving drainage and aeration, useful when rooting cuttings or preparing a more open potting mix. The white expanded particles create air spaces around roots and help prevent a dense growing medium.

Where it helps

• Mix with seed-and-cutting compost to improve air around developing roots.
• Add to container compost where plants need freer drainage.
• Useful for plants that dislike prolonged wet conditions.

Moisten before handling to reduce dust, blend evenly and keep pot drainage holes clear. The right proportion depends on the plant and base compost. Perlite improves structure but does not supply a complete fertiliser or remove the need to check moisture.
