Geranium nodosum is a resilient perennial cranesbill, valued for its magenta-purple flowers from April to July. Growing to around 30cm, it forms a neat clump and is remarkably tolerant of dry shade, where many plants struggle. Hardy and low-maintenance, it makes excellent ground cover in borders or woodland gardens.
