Fig Saint Dominique de Violette (Ficus carica) is a rare French heirloom variety prized for its large, richly flavoured fruit. The figs develop deep violet-purple skin with sweet, juicy pink flesh, making them ideal for fresh eating, desserts and preserves. This attractive deciduous fruit tree features broad, lobed green leaves and a spreading growth habit. Self-fertile and well suited to home gardens, it thrives in full sun and prefers well-drained soil. Typically grows 24 metres tall and wide, but can be maintained at a smaller size through pruning or grown in large pots.
Supplied in a 200mm pot.
