Dryopteris sieboldii 2L

Dryopteris sieboldii, commonly known as Siebold’s wood fern, is a unique and attractive fern species known for its distinct foliage and robust nature. Unlike the delicate, feathery fronds of many ferns, Dryopteris sieboldii features leathery, blue-green leaves that are somewhat unusual for a fern, giving it a bold and textured appearance in the garden. This fern is a standout due to its tolerance for drier conditions than most ferns prefer, making it versatile in terms of placement within a garden setting. It thrives in shaded to partially shaded areas, making it a fantastic choice for woodland gardens, shaded borders, or as an underplanting for larger shrubs and trees.
