Abbotswood Potentilla

Overview & Description

The Abbotswood Potentilla (Potentilla fruticosa Abbotswood) is a prized dwarf shrub known for its exceptionally long bloom period and tidy, uniform habit. It forms a dense, spreading mound of small, blue-green foliage. From late spring until frost, it is profusely covered with single, pure white flowers that create a crisp, bright display. The flowers are set against the foliage in a way that creates an attractive contrast.

Growth & Size

This variety exhibits a dense, mounded, and spreading growth habit. It is a compact dwarf shrub, typically reaching a mature size of about 2 to 3 feet in both height and spread. It has a moderate growth rate.
