Buddleja davidii ‘Blue Horizon’ is a vase-shaped shrub admired for its stunning blue-violet flowers that bloom in open sprays from July to August. Reaching a height of 2 to 3 metres, this variety is known for its exceptional drought tolerance and strong, distinctive fragrance. The flowers are complemented by grey-green pedicels and peduncles, enhancing the plants visual appeal.
It is a likely infertile hybrid, adding to its ease of maintenance as it does not self-seed. Ideal for attracting butterflies, ‘Blue Horizon’ is perfect for sunny borders or as a specimen plant, offering a unique shade of blue that few other plants can match.
