An unusual biennial with handsome pale grey-green leaves, elegantly veined and crinkled at the edges. From June to August it sends up spires of rich burgundy flowers, creating a striking contrast in borders. Easy to grow, it reaches around 75cm and thrives in sunny garden settings.
