An early summer-fruiting raspberry producing red berries on the previous year’s canes. Suitable for fresh eating, freezing and jam, with a main harvest usually in June and July.

What to know

• Grow in sun or light shade in a sheltered position.

• Summer-fruiting types crop on previous-year canes: cut harvested canes to ground level after cropping and tie in the new canes.
