HAYDAY GOLD BICOLOR HELENIUM 1gal SUPER

When your late-summer garden starts to fade, you need a jolt of reliable color, and Hayday Gold Bicolor Helenium delivers exactly that. This rugged perennial lights up your yard with masses of golden-yellow blooms splashed with fiery red-orange, blooming vigorously from mid-summer right through autumn. Growing to a beautifully compact 14 to 18 inches tall and wide, it fits perfectly into the front of sunny borders or tight patio containers without ever getting leggy or flopping over. You will want to plant this sun-lover in a spot that receives full sun to ensure the most vibrant colors. It establishes easily in our mountain soil and requires surprisingly little water once rooted in. While the nectar-rich centers draw in hungry butterflies and bees all season, the naturally bitter foliage makes it completely deer and rabbit resistant, giving you a bright, worry-free landscape when you need it most.
