Egyptian Star Flower Red (Pentas lanceolata)

Egyptian Star Flower Red, also known as Pentas lanceolata, is a compact flowering perennial with bold red, star-shaped flower clusters held above lush green foliage. Flowering for long periods in warm conditions, it attracts butterflies and bees and suits garden beds, borders, and pots. Plants grow to around 4060 cm high and wide with a naturally bushy habit. Best grown in full sun to part shade in well-drained soil, with regular watering during warmer months. Light pruning encourages a neat shape and continuous flowering.
