Ramblin’ Red Rose

Overview & Description

Ramblin Red Rose (Rosa Ramblin Red) is a vigorous climbing rose prized for being smothered in true red, fully double, recurrent, fragrant blooms on strong, sturdy canes. New foliage emerges burgundy, maturing to glossy, dark green for a striking contrast against the vivid red flowers. This exceptional variety offers excellent resistance to powdery mildew and black spot, ensuring healthy, reliable performance throughout the growing season.

Growth & Size

This variety exhibits a climbing, upright, vigorous growth habit. It is a fast-growing rose, typically reaching a mature size of about 8 feet in height with a spread of 5 feet.

Additional Notes

It blooms recurrently from late spring through fall. Hardy to Zone 3, it is drought tolerant once established and prefers moist, well-drained soil. An outstanding choice for trellises, arbors, fences, walls, and vertical accents where true red, fully double, fragrant blooms, disease resistance, and vigorous climbing performance are desired.
